Senior Mechanical Engineer (to be based in Singapore)

Responsibilities:

* Direct, design and coordinate the execution of all engineering and technological projects according to schedule, budget to local standards.
* Develop and implement an effective maintenance programme to minimize breakdown & cost.
* Ensure compliance to the company policies for ISO, HAACP, Safety & Quality.
* Lead maintenance technician to resolve breakdown with minimal impact on production.
* Lead continuous improvement activities for work methods and equipment using work improvements methodology.
* Reduce energy usage through process and equipment improvements.
* Guide, instruct & coach staff on process & equipment maintenance.

Requirement:

* Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
* At least five years experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in engineering with supervision experience in the food/process industries.
* Good understanding of process control and piping design.
* Computer literacy including Word, Excel, CAD;
* Knowledge in cooling, boiler maintenance and operation is an added advantage.
* Good understanding and application of continuous improvement systems e.g. TPM
